I don’t know about you, but its really easy for me to lose sight of all the incredible things that God either has done or is doing in my life as soon as something negative pops up.  I think the only way to get past that is to intentionally focus on how much God really blesses us.

This year at New Grounds, we want to help people remember what God is doing for them.  We are excited to see how God blesses not just the staff and volunteers, but anyone in the community.  We’ve decided to keep a jar of blessings on our counter—it’s there for anyone to share a big or small blessing in their life.  If you’d like to join in, just stop by and leave a short note in the jar.  We’d love to hear from you!

Our goal is that at our annual New Years Eve party, we can look back and celebrate all the big and little blessings that God has given everyone who is influenced by what God is doing through New Grounds throughout 2013.

I also want you to know that God is using those of you who support us in a great way to bless  New Grounds.  If it wouldn’t be the support shown by this community, New Grounds wouldn’t be the same.  Thank you for the sacrifices you’ve made to support what God’s doing through New Grounds!

Blessings in Christ!

Just in case the Mayans are wrong, I would love for you to join us at our NYE party. We are having a pool tournament, cornhole tournament, spoons tournament and hourly drawings for a chance to win prizes... if you can beat your challenger in a minute to win it game!

This amazing party starts at 7pm, and will go until we worship in the new year with Zech Haynes leading us. It's an incredible experience if you haven't done it before.

I know you haven't made plans beyond 12/21/12, so click "Join" and then show up. (if the Mayans were wrong and we are still around, anyways)
